Roadmap for Using the CLILMED Tools

Twenty-first century is often associated with volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous contexts that call for dialogue and collaboration of key actors.

The United Nations’ Agenda 2030 and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals embody these contexts.

To encourage innovative pedagogies and empower responsible learners, teaching strategies need to change and teachers’ competence profiles need to develop.

Medical educators also need certain competences to brace for the 21st century challenges. They are asked to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

To be able to do that medical educators need to see their continuous professional development as a road, which will get them where they need to be as professionals.

The CLILMED tools help educators identify their readiness to teach in multilingual and multicultural learning environments.
