CLILMED Final Meeting in Warsaw, Poland on June 9, 2022
Our final TPM took place in Warsaw as originally scheduled but we still had lots of project promotion ahead of us. By that time we knew that the project was to be extended and we were working on the best implementation of the project activities.
CLILMED Halfway Meeting in Budapest, Hungary on Oct. 14 - 15, 2021
Finally a meeting in person! After the tubulence caused by the COVID-19 pandemic we were able to meet in Budapest to discuss the important issues related to the current state of teaching and learning and of course the Project progress.
CLILMED Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (C3) in Galway, Ireland, Aug. 30 - Sept.3, 2021
During a week-long Pilot Course on “Teaching teachers to use CLIL in medical and healthcare sciences at tertiary institutions” a group of 18 teachers from the six universities participating in the Project used the CLIL approach to see how student-centred pedegogies support students in an intercultural, multilingual classrooms.
CLILMED Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (C2) in Stockholm, Sweden on Jan.12-14, 2020
The project experts met for a seminar on “Contemporary Teaching Methodologies in an Intercultural Classroom” at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden. We had lively discussion, lots of food for thought and we were blessed with a long visit from President Ole Petter Ottersen.
CLILMED Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (C1) in Cracow, Poland on Nov. 26-28, 2019
The project experts met for a seminar on Guidance Material for “Mapping Internationalisation of the Curriculum. A Seminar Module” at Jagiellonian University led by Luminar Foundation.
The training included: the introduction to the concept of Internationalisation at Home (IaH) and Internationalisation of the Curriculum (IoC) in a context of a definition of a modern teaching programme and examples and good practices of using the concept of IoC at various HEIs. We also used the Ketso tool to define needs of medical universities.
CLILMED Kick Off Meeting in Cracow, Poland on Nov. 25-26, 2019
Fist official meeting of project coordinators and experts took place at Jagiellonian University in Cracow.
